Terms and Conditions
Understanding the legal framework and operating agreements for our partnership with you.
Quick Summary
Last Updated: October 2023. We recommend reviewing these terms annually to stay informed of our logistics policies.
1. Nature of Services
Hewcor Supply Chain Solutions, LLC operates as a diversified logistics and supply chain provider. By engaging our services, you're agreeing to the operational protocols that ensure your freight moves safely across North America. We aren't just a carrier; we're your strategic partner in Texas and beyond.
2. Payment & Financial Obligations
Why do we emphasize net-30 terms? Because steady cash flow keeps our fleet maintained and our drivers ready. All invoices are payable within thirty (30) days from the invoice date. Late payments may incur interest charges in accordance with Texas state law.
3. Freight Liability and Limitations
Liability for loss or damage is strictly limited to the release value specified in the applicable Bill of Lading. Our high-value cargo protocols are designed to minimize risk, but we encourage clients to discuss additional insurance for sensitive shipments. No claim for loss or damage will be processed until all transportation charges have been paid in full.
4. Jurisdiction and Governing Law
We're proud to call Austin home. Any disputes arising from our logistics agreements shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. You'll find that our commitment to local compliance simplifies the legal landscape for your supply chain management.
5. Force Majeure
In the world of trucking, Mother Nature sometimes has her own plans. Hewcor Supply Chain Solutions, LLC shouldn't be held responsible for delays caused by acts of God, public enemies, or severe weather conditions that impact safe transportation routes.
